Southwest NRC

The Southwest National Robotics Challenge is a community event that brings together students from grades 6-12 to compete in a robot-building contest. Unlike other robotics competitions, we do not require participants to purchase a specific kit, making it accessible to all. Additionally, we keep costs low so that more students can participate. This contest is designed to challenge students and foster their love for robotics, and it can be continued throughout their college education.

We offer four competitions (Box Bot, Combat Robot, Mini-Sumo, and RoboHockey).

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to inspire and educate the next generation of innovators and problem solvers through robotics. We believe that robotics is a powerful tool for learning and growth, and we are committed to providing opportunities for students to explore and excel in this field.
